><h3>Aini (\u0639\u064a\u0646\u064a)<\/h3>\n<p>Aini (\u0639\u064a\u0646\u064a), meaning \u201cmy eye,\u201d is a floating wooden installation inspired by the ancient Mediterranean symbol of the evil eye, a talisman believed to protect against misfortune and envy. Found across Greece, Turkey, the Levant, and North Africa, this iconic blue eye, known regionally as nazar, mati, or \u02bfayn al-\u1e25as\u016bd, has served as a symbol of protection and shared well-being for centuries.<\/p>\n<p>This work reimagines the symbol as an interactive floating sculpture, a space where the artist may struggle, rest, and play.
