Call for Applications under the New Business Activity Support Scheme<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/section>\n

The Youth Board of Cyprus, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, announces the Second Call for applications under the \u201cNew Business Activity Support Scheme,\u201d which is part of the \u201cTH.AL.E.I.A.\u201d 2021\u20132027 Program. The Scheme is co-funded by the Republic of Cyprus, the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the EU under the Cohesion Policy in Cyprus for the Programming Period 2021\u20132027.<\/p>\n

The Scheme aims to promote, support, and develop entrepreneurship, with a focus on specific population groups, such as young people and women<\/strong> who wish to engage in any type of economic activity (excluding those listed in the Scheme Guides), by leveraging their knowledge, experience, training, and talents.<\/p>\n

The grant rate is set at:<\/p>\n

    70%<\/strong> for young people aged 18\u201329<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    60%<\/strong> for men aged 30\u201350<\/strong> and women aged 30\u201355<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The grant is calculated based on eligible investment costs (equipment, special facilities, construction, purchase or renovation\/arrangement of premises, marketing and promotion, and other expenses), with a maximum eligible budget per business of \u20ac120,000<\/strong>, for activities related to manufacturing, services, and tourism.<\/p>\n

    The total available budget<\/strong> for the Scheme is \u20ac20 million<\/strong>, subject to change.<\/p>\n
