Presentation of the artist-in-residence programme \u201cMaking Womanhood\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The artist-in-residence programme Making Womanhood was presented on Saturday 2 October 2021 at the Youth Makerspace Larnaka, in cooperation with Media What Lab. The aim of the residence programme will be to examine what it means to be a woman in Cyprus in 2021 and it is part of the Mediatized Portraits of Women Speaker series, implemented in the framework of the POWER project (Portraits Of Women Empowered Representations), which is funded by the US Embassy in Cyprus.<\/p>\n

The selected artist used the space and equipment of Youth Makerspace Larnaka and created unique works of art under the topic \u201cMaking Womanhood\u201d. Participating artists:
\n– Eirini Kattou, \u201cOthered Desired\u201d
\n– Katerina Melissaropoulou, Kostas Philippou, Gina Tsitseri, Lefteris Ioannou and Panagiotis Antoniou, \u201cSensorial Entrapment\u201d
