The Technology and Creativity Festival “MAKERS FAIR” returns on June 14, 2025, inviting makers to showcase their technological and creative projects!

Youth Makerspace Larnaka of the Cyprus Youth Organization, in collaboration this year with the European Capital of Culture Organization – Larnaka 2030, co-creates a festival based on maker culture, STEAM fields, innovation, and digital skills.

For the third consecutive year, professionals and amateurs, creators and makers, organizations, and institutions from various sectors are invited to come together to promote innovation, encourage experimentation, and foster creation.

This open call is addressed to individuals and/or groups from fields such as design, engineering, manufacturing, art, interactive technology, social innovation, and other related areas. Selected creators will be hosted in a designated space during the MAKERS FAIR 2025 event to present and promote original ideas and/or products, as well as to demonstrate the use of technological equipment.

The main goal of the makers’ participation in the festival is to strengthen the maker community and support artistic production. Participants will have the opportunity to promote their work and business, meet experienced professionals and organizations, and connect with a large, enthusiastic audience.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Age limit for makers is between 18 and 35 years old.

• Each maker may exhibit up to 3 projects. The total size of the exhibited works must not exceed 2m x 2m x 2m.

• Youth Makerspace Larnaka will not cover transportation, creation, or presentation costs for the makers’ works.

• The presence of participants and their works is required exclusively during the MAKERS FAIR 2025 event.

• Youth Makerspace Larnaka reserves the right to use photographic and videographic material for the promotion of the Youth Makerspace Larnaka program and the Makers Fair festival.

• Exhibited projects/creations may not be offered for sale during the festival.
