The second Competition for Primary School students of Larnaka District entitled “Name a Reef” has been completed. The competition concerned students from grades 3 to 6, who were asked to name a reef in the sea area of Larnaka, and more specifically on the beach “Kastella”.
The children broadened their knowledge about the environment, the sea and the history of the province while they gained an active role in a unique initiative and collective action of their place!
The winners are the 4th grade of Aradippou 4th Agios Fanouri Primary School, which has now named the reef, “Alia”.
The 4th grade of Zygiou Mari Primary School received the 2nd prize and the 3rd grade of Dromolaxias A Primary School received the 3rd prize
