This summer, the Youth Makerspace Larnaka was filled with young makers participating in the “Young Makers Summer Workshops”. Children and young people from 7 to 17 years old took part in our summer workshops on the topic of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) and with the aim of strengthening 21st century skills such as collaboration, problem solving, criticism thinking, creativity etc.

Young Makers 7-9 years:
July 11, 2022 – July 15, 2022
During the first week of the Young Makers Summer Workshops, the children used different technologies and developed valuable skills, in creative and fun ways!

Young Makers 10-12 years old:
July 18, 2022 – July 22, 2022
In the second week, students became engineers, architects, designers and STEAM professionals. At the same time, they had the opportunity to be educated through technology, art, robotics, engineering and design.

Young Makers 13-17 years old:
July 25, 2022 – August 5, 2022
This week participants got to know in depth the innovative equipment of Youth Makerspace Larnaka through educational workshops and were challenged to solve a “problem” by producing their own prototype!
