Maria Adamou is an elementary school teacher, graduate of the University of Cyprus (BA) with a Masters in Learning, Education and Technology from the University of Oulu, Finland (MA). She has taught robotics and technology lessons with emphasis in 21st-century skills. She has worked in several European research projects that aimed in students’ skills development using new technologies in authentic learning environments. Her role at the Youth Makerspace is mainly to support the educational part by designing educational workshops based on STEAM Education and the Making Movement.
