The CARE Festival by Larnaka 2030 Returns – with Youth Makerspace as a Supporter!
This November, the CARE Festival will span two weekends (November 8-10 and 16-17), bringing an exciting array of artistic and educational activities for the whole family. The festival’s second edition highlights the concept of care as a fundamental pillar for the city of Larnaka.
A Focus on Care and Collective Action
This year’s edition of the CARE Festival reflects the natural evolution of its mission, addressing pressing issues facing Europe today: war, migration, displacement, marginalization of vulnerable groups, and youth. These interconnected social challenges stem from a lack of care, calling for immediate collective action.
The CARE Festival is an initiative of Larnaka 2030, in collaboration with the Foundation of Cultural Creativity for Children and Youth and the Pierides Foundation, with support from:
- Youth Makerspace Larnaka
- POED (Primary Education Teachers’ Association)
- OELMEK (Secondary Education Teachers’ Association)
- Federation of Parents’ Associations for Secondary Education in Larnaka
- Federation of Parents’ Associations for Primary Education in Larnaka
- ADHD Association of Cyprus
