Youth Makerspace Larnaka continues the educational workshops “Workshops for Makers” for February 2025, promoting creativity and making through the technological equipment available in the space, as well as the programs that accompany it.

Like every WFM workshop series, the goal is not only education but also encouraging makers to integrate various forms of technology into the creation of their innovative ideas. Additionally, the community of makers and tech lovers, as well as the Youth Makerspace program, are further strengthened!

Rhino 3D design for laser cutting

Description: In the Rhino 3D workshop, you will learn how to create digital designs ready for fabrication with a laser cutter. In this highly anticipated workshop, we will explore Rhino’s tools and techniques for precise design and dive into the process of converting drawings into a format suitable for laser cutting.

This workshop is ideal for those interested in digital fabrication, as well as designers who want to learn how to bring their ideas to life using modern technologies.

Fashionista Illustration Workshop

Description: Youth Makerspace Larnaka invites illustration and fashion enthusiasts—and beyond—to explore new creative possibilities!

Join us for a two-hour morning Fashion Illustration & Drawing workshop on February 15th, guided by a talented illustrator from the Czech Republic. Participants will learn fundamental fashion sketching techniques, how to render fashion figure proportions, and how to add colour and texture to their designs.

This workshop is organized in collaboration with the Larnaca Cultural Foundation for Children and Youth.

Description: We invite you to a workshop strictly for individuals aged 18 and over, where educational robotics becomes a tool for fun and developing programming skills.

Through building and programming a LEGO Spike Prime robot, our goal is to introduce you to engaging and creative activities that will encourage you to explore new technologies with enthusiasm, imagination, and collaboration!

Carnival Craft

Description: Carnival season is approaching, and our little makers couldn’t miss out on the fun! Participants will have the chance to create their own carnival masks and decorate them however they like!
