The MAKERS FAIR technology and creativity festival returns on June 14, 2025, and invites makers to showcase their technological and creative projects!

Youth Makerspace Larnaka of the Cyprus Youth Organization is co-organizing this year’s festival in collaboration with the European Capital of Culture – Larnaka 2030. The event is centered on maker culture, STEAM fields, innovation, and digital skills. For the third consecutive year, professionals and amateurs, creators and makers, organizations and institutions from various fields are invited to come together to promote innovation and encourage experimentation and making.

This open call is addressed to individuals and/or groups from the fields of design, engineering, manufacturing, art, interactive technology, social innovation, and other related categories. Selected makers will be hosted in a designated space during the MAKERS FAIR 2025 to present and promote original ideas and/or products, as well as demonstrate the use of technological equipment. The primary goal of the makers’ participation is to strengthen the maker community and support artistic production. Participants will have the opportunity to promote their work and businesses, connect with expert professionals and organizations, and engage with a large and enthusiastic audience.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• The age limit for participating makers is from 18 to 35 years old.
• Each maker may exhibit up to 3 projects. The total size of the constructions must not exceed 2m x 2m x 2m.
• Youth Makerspace Larnaka will not cover the cost of transportation, creation, or presentation of the makers’ projects.
• Participants and their projects must be present only during the MAKERS FAIR 2025.
• Youth Makerspace Larnaka reserves the right to use photographic and video material for the promotion of both the Youth Makerspace Larnaka program of the Cyprus Youth Organization and the Makers Fair festival.
• Projects/creations exhibited at MAKERS FAIR 2025 may not be offered for sale during the festival.
