Surveillance Game
Youth Makerspace Larnaka is organizing an Observation Game with the theme “Exploring Larnaca”. The participants, together with their team, will have the opportunity to walk in the center of Larnaca. They will explore and discover the city by observing details they did not know or never noticed again.
The event will take place in the center of Larnaca starting from Europe Square, on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 09: 30-12: 30. The top three teams with the highest score will receive a cash prize.
Information and conditions of participation:
The observation game is aimed at children and young people.
The participating groups should consist of 2-5 people.
Groups with members under the age of 12 must be accompanied by at least one adult.
Members 13-18 years old must have the written consent of a guardian in case they are not accompanied.
The team with the highest score will receive the cash prize of € 300, the next in the ranking will receive the cash prize of € 200 and the third the amount of € 100.
The participants during the event are invited to follow all the appropriate health protection measures of the Ministry of Health of Cyprus. In case the health measures do not allow the event to take place, then the participants will be informed via e-mail as well as by phone.

Handicraft Workshop
Youth Makerspace Larnaka is organising the Handicraft Workshop “Let’s create a 3D giant fish made of carton”. Through the workshop participants will explore the available technological equipment and construct their own creation. Children and young people will learn how a laser cutter works, and will use it to create their own 3D fish of carton.
The event will take place at Youth Makespace Larnaka on Thursday 17 June 2021 at 17:30-18:30.
Information and participation rules:
The Handicraft Workshop is geared for children and young people.
Children under 12 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
Participants should follow all covid-19 related measures as issued by the Ministry of Health. In case further restrictions do not allow physical presence, the workshop will be held online.
