The Youth Makerspace Larnaka of the Cyprus Youth Organization is organizing a photography competition entitled “PHOTOGRAFI-ZO”. The purpose of the competition is to highlight the young amateur photographers of Cyprus, aged 15-35, using the photographic equipment and accompanying tools available at the workshop. Through the competition, young people will have the opportunity to capture their daily life, their travels and explorations, their hope, and also their concerns for the future.

The event is held in memory of Thrasyvoulos Thrasyvoulos, Executive Secretary of the Cyprus Youth Organization, and in the context of the National Youth Year 2024.

Entries will be judged by a panel of photography experts whose names will be announced at a later stage. With the selection of the three (3) best photos, corresponding cash prizes, three (3) additional commendations, as well as a special award from the family of Thrasyvoulos Thrasyvoulos will be given.

All winning photos will be presented at the technology festival, Makers Fair 2024 in printed form as part of a photo exhibition.

• 1st Prize = €400
• 2nd Prize = €300
• 3rd Prize = €200
• Special Prize from the Thrasyvoulos Thrasyvoulos family = €200
• 3 Awards = €100 each
