Girls Go Circular

The organization Junior Achievement Cyprus in collaboration with the office of the Commissioner of the Environment and the Youth Makerspace of the Youth Organization of Cyprus, organize the Girls Go Circular Day that will take place at the Youth Makerspace in Larnaka, on December 1, 2023 at 14:30-17:30.

Girls Go Circular, a free online education program aims to encourage women’s participation in STEM and help close the gender gap in terms of the number of women active in the digital and business sector in Europe. The program takes place through an online learning platform and is aimed mainly at girls aged 14-19. It includes multiple modules that impart digital skills by exploring the circular economy from different perspectives. The program is offered in both English and Greek.

Girls who complete the program will receive certificates of participation and will also be entered into a draw for a €100 gift voucher from an electronics department store.

Important to note, that all girls who wish to take part, will need to bring their computer with them.

The number of places is limited so please proceed with your registration as soon as possible, with a closing date of 26/11/2023. In case there are more applications, then an additional meeting may be held.

Finally, we would like to inform you that for all girls who register, parent/guardian consent will be requested, which will be sent to them after registration.
