Larnaka Cinema Society Announces 3 Different Film Workshop Series for 2025!

The Larnaka Film Club is excited to announce three distinct Film Workshop series for 2025!

The first workshop series, aimed at individuals aged 18 to 35, will take place from May 15 to June 26, between 17:30 and 19:00. Under the guidance of director Michalis Kalopaidis, participants will explore how hands-on practice (such as filming and editing) is combined with film theory, focusing on both aesthetics and storytelling.

The second workshop series, with a similar theme, will follow during the summer and will be designed for individuals aged 14 to 17. The third series, focused on screenwriting and led by director and screenwriter Stavros Pampallis, will take place in the fall. Dates and times for the latter two series will be announced at a later stage.

All workshops will be hosted at the Youth Makerspace Larnaka. Thanks to funding from the Deputy Ministry of Culture and the support of the Cyprus Youth Organization, participation in all workshops is free of charge.
