Youth Makerspace Larnaka invites makers to present their projects and/or constructions at the upcoming Makers Fair!

The Youth Makerspace Larnaka of the Cyprus Youth Organization is organizing this year again in the center of Larnaca a festival based on the culture of creation, in the fields of STEAM, digital skills, innovation, and design. As part of the event, professionals and amateurs, creators and makers, organizations and agencies from different sectors will meet to promote innovation and encourage experimentation and construction.

Το Youth Makerspace Larnaka προσκαλεί makers να παρουσιάσουν έργα ή/και κατασκευές τους στο επερχόμενο «Makers Fair».

The open call is addressed to individuals and/or groups who come from the fields of design, engineering, construction, art, interactive technology, social innovation, as well as other related categories. The creators who will be selected will be hosted in a designated area during the Makers Fair 2024 event to present and promote original ideas and/or products, as well as demonstrate the possibilities of using technological equipment. The main objectives of the presence of makers at the Makers Fair 2024 festival are to strengthen the community of creators and support artistic production. Participants will have the opportunity to promote their work and business, meet expert professionals and organizations, and meet a large enthusiastic audience.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• The participation age limit for makers is from 18 to 35.
• The number of selected proposals will be up to 10.
• Each maker can exhibit up to 3 works. The size of the structures must not exceed a total of 2m x 2m x 2m.
• Youth Makerspace Larnaka is not expected to cover the costs of transportation, creation, or presentation of the makers’ works.
• The presence of the participants and their projects is exclusively during the Makers Fair
  Youth Makerspace Larnaka reserves the right to use photographic and video material to promote the Youth Makerspace Larnaka program of the Cyprus Youth Organization and the Makers Fair festival.
• The works/creations to be exhibited at Makers Fair 2024 may not be offered for sale during the festival.
