Mobile Makerspace – “Internship Program at the House of Representatives”
The Mobile Makerspace visited the House of Representatives on July 16 to bring a touch of technology and innovation not only to the 28 students of the “Internship Program at the House of Representatives” but also to the members of the Parliamentary Body.
During our visit, we introduced the students to the Youth Makerspace Larnaka program and discussed ways they could utilize the space’s equipment. Additionally, the students received training on the Canvas tool for designing business cards and logos. They also visited the Mobile Makerspace to see the technological equipment up close. We thank the students for their undivided attention and active participation in the day-long program designed especially for them.
We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Theopemptou for his presence and the time he dedicated to seeing the Mobile Makerspace’s technological equipment firsthand, as well as to the program coordinators, Mr. Andreas and Ms. Panayiota, for their excellent cooperation. Education in new technologies should know no boundaries, as the diverse needs of young people in every context are evident daily.
