Artemis Evlogimenou
My inspiration comes from 3 subjects: anthropology, sound, and nature. I use digital and analog equipment for photography, filming, and editing. In 2015, I trained as an HSE Commercial Diver for underwater filming and in the same year, completed a Diploma in Marine Biology. Before starting work as a cinematographer and photographer, I trained and worked as a stage designer and stage designer’s assistant in small and large theater productions in England. In this residency, I will have the opportunity to develop the project ‘spells/incantations’ which investigates the relationship between the scientific and occult worlds.
