TECHNOLOGICAL EQUIPMENT EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS

Youth Makerspace Larnaka is back with its ‘Workshops for Makers’ educational workshops, promoting the learning of the technological equipment available in the space. The aim of the workshops is both to educate and to inform and encourage makers about how the various forms of technology can contribute to the creation of their original ideas. In addition, through the training workshops, the opportunity is given for the trainers to network together with the audience, thus expanding the community of Youth Makerspace Larnaka and the makers.

Workshop Program:

• 9/3 – Lego Robotics Workshop

Time: 10:00-11:30

Age limit: 7-10 years

Previous knowledge: Not required

• 23/3 – Photography workshop and editing through Photoshop

Time: 10:00-13:00

Age limit: 15+

Previous knowledge: Not required

30/3 – 3D pens workshop

Time: 10:00-11:30

Age limit: 6+

Previous knowledge: Not required

• 6/4 – Design for laser cutting through Illustrator

Time: 10:00-13:00

Age limit: 18+

Previous knowledge: Partial/good knowledge of Illustrator

• 13/4 – 3D Modelling για 3D printing

Time: 10:00-13:00

Age limit: 15+

Previous knowledge: Not required

• 20/4 – Programming via the Arduino board

Time: 10:00-13:00

Age limit: 14-18 years

Previous knowledge: Some programming knowledge

• 27/4 – Drones Workshop

Time: 10:00-12:00

Age limit: 15+

Previous knowledge: Not required

• You can take part in all the workshops.
• The workshops will be held in Greek.
• Participation is free.
• The number of entries is limited.
• Please be at the venue 5 minutes before the start of the workshop.
• The hours, the age limit, and the level of knowledge are indicated for each workshop separately.
