Young Makers Summer Workshops – The Teenage Version
The “Young Makers Summer Workshops” of the Youth Makerspace Larnaka of the Cyprus Youth Organization are returning in July 2023 for the second consecutive year with a teenage version!
The summer activity is aimed at teenagers and aims at personal development as well as the acquisition of skills that will help the participants to discover new technologies and scientific fields that they may not have the opportunity to get to know at school. During the three weeks they participate, they will have the opportunity to become Product Designers and will be asked to solve a “problem” by creating their prototype
The “Young Makers Summer Workshops” will take place in July for students aged 13-17 for three weeks, from July 10, 2023, to July 28, 2023 (Monday to Friday 8:30-13:30).
The purpose of the “Young Makers Summer Workshops” is to learn 21st-century skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity through technological workshops and activities related to the S.T.E.A.M. field, such as 3D printing, laser cutting, Virtual Reality, Arduinos, Robotics, Design Thinking, Problem Solving, etc.
