Educational Workshops of Traditional Crafts – “Back to the Future”
Following overwhelming public demand, the beloved workshop series Back to the Future returns, refreshed and renewed! With new educational workshops and even more exciting experiences, young people will travel back to the past of making and creating.
Through the six traditional craft workshops previously held at the Youth Makerspace Larnaka, participants showed tremendous interest, making the series extremely popular—so much so that all spots were filled within the very first week of announcement. This once again highlights young people’s need for creativity and reconnection with tradition.
We now continue with the new and updated series “Back to the Future vol. 2”, featuring five more hands-on workshops led by experienced instructors. This time, participants will explore skills and techniques combined with creativity across different themes such as woodturning, ceramics, macramé, and jewelry making. Participants will experiment with tools, use their hands, and take advantage of the equipment provided to apply traditional craftsmanship techniques.
The goal of these workshops is not only personal development and skill-building, but also the preservation of our cultural heritage.
Register HERE and join us to rediscover the past, experiment with the present, and create the future!
